Connecting Smiles with Functional Harmony

Bridges are a non-surgical option for restoring missing teeth. Bridges are used to restore proper chewing and speaking abilities, maintain the shape of the patient’s face, correct bite, and prevent remaining teeth from shifting position.

The concept of a fixed dental bridge has been used for thousands of years. Ancient civilizations used various materials such as animal and human teeth, bones, gold, and ivory to fill gaps in smiles. Fortunately, dental materials and technology have advanced over time. Modern dental bridges are made from high-quality materials like porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, and engineered ceramics like zirconia. These bridges are not only stronger and more durable but also provide a natural and attractive appearance.

Bridges will need to be cared for similar to natural teeth. Daily brushing and flossing, good oral hygiene, and regular checkups will help to prolong the lifespan of the bridge. Special aids are available to help keep it clean, our team will help advise on the best aid for you.
